If they don't it's going to continue and get worse. They've had limited contact since the show's finished but that hasn't stopped some fans from twisting every encounter they have to suit their fantasies. We'll agree to disagree on them addressing it, in my opinion they haven't said enough. Perhaps if they had a laugh about it like Jared, Jensen and Mischa do from Supernatural it wouldn't be a problem and fans would brush it off, but the fact they've both acted uncomfortable, weird and mostly silent proves they have other reasons for not addressing it more vocally. Just an opinion.
I also think Colin might be bi. At least that would explain a few things. To get back on topic, I also said he has a gf based on him being seen with the same blonde several times over the last few years most recently at Mojo, they could be friends though.
I honestly don't know what things it would explain about Colin Morgan, but my default for everyone is bi. Nothing about CM specifically screams queer to me, but then I suspect we have very different perceptions about gender and sexual orientation.
I too have read about the girlfriend, and I am inclined to believe that that might be the case. But then again, I am only speculating. CM reminds me a lot of Cillian Murphy, who is also notoriously private, even more so when he was younger.
"CM reminds me a lot of Cillian Murphy.."
I so see Colin having a wife and kids stashed somewhere. rofl! not the most crazy rumour I've ever heard. His career will go quite similar as well.
How do you know that "Colin is deeply concerned about the way he is perceived" and is "hiding something" . You can't know those things unless he tells you so (and if you are a friend, why are you commenting on a public and anon. site) All I see is that he is trying to keep is private life just that - Private. I really don't think he cares, nor is going to address the small group of fans who continue to make up stories and insist that he and Bradley are having a secret affair. He's getting on with his life and career and leaving Merlin far behind him.
I too have heard that Colin (and the rest of the cast) were deeply dissatisfied with the way the series panned out, and the emphasis of the Arthur/Merlin relationship. (the phrase I heard was near-mutiny at the final script read through) He was silent at that group of interviews they had to conduct as he really didn't want to be there, and I agree with the other anon - he was deeply irritated at the line of questioning (not because he was hiding his sexuality, because he was not able to really say how he felt) The actors never had a lot of clout in terms of character development or story-telling, and in all interviews etc that they did, they had to follow the line the producers wanted them to follow - there was a lot going on bts, which we will probably never find out.
"How do you know that "Colin is deeply concerned about the way he is perceived" and is "hiding something"
I don't. His body language speaks volumes. He's most definitely hiding something. Whether that be he's gay, married, has a bunch of bastard kids, Who knows. Let's not forget that it was Colin himself who boasted "My secrets are good" Yes he's entitled to his private life, but until he comes out and declares that he has a girlfriend or that he's hetero or pap's photograph him the gay rumours will persist. Fair or not.
Oh, he was joking with a child for crying out loud. Stop reading everything in regards to his sexuality, yes he may be hiding something, he may be hiding the fact that he hated the show and couldn't wait to get out. Not all roads led to sex, and not everybody who is hiding something are hiding that they are gay. Body language! I know gay people who have said they don't believe he's gay, so much for your gaydar and reading of body language - everybody has a different opinion, and body language is not a science set in stone. You can read anything you want into it if you wish, anybody will tell you that
I agree that the gay rumours will persist, but they will whether or not he shows his girlfriend, or denies he's gay in an interview, or opens up about his private life, because people like you will not believe it regardless.
I'm not going to argue further, because to do so is pointless. I
You do realise that not everything is a conspiracy to hide a person's sexuality, don't you?
I don't think that talking about a person's private and intimate life in public is appropriate. The actors are total strangers to the fans and what they're doing in their private life is none of our business. We know nothing of them, except what they are willing to let people know. Even if there are rumours and even if somebody has found out something about who- or whatever, it doesn't belong in the public.
I think that people should respect the celebrities' wishes and refrain from discussing their sexuality, private life and what they might have had for breakfast.

No. If Colin comes out and says he's not gay, that's good enough for me. So far he's chosen to say nothing at all. If he does have a girlfriend imagine how she feels with fans constantly saying your man is gay.
Fimber: I get you don't want people talking about Colin's private life, but honestly there's not much to talk about and were just speculating. I also don't understand you feeling the need to stop by every blue moon to say the same drivel. This is a thread for talking about Colin's gf or whom he may be dating, if you don't like it, don't come in here. People will discuss it regardless. I think everyone is being fairly respectful. It's all just opinions and speculations.
This discussion will only go on as long as we admins allow it to continue. It's my obligation to take care of the threads and discussions, so telling me to simply not reading it doesn't make sense. We have let you discuss this subject so far, but whether or not we allow this discussion to continue, everyone should have the courtesy to not speculate about other people's private life. While I understand the curiosity of the fans, it's actually rude to spread rumours and to discuss in public the sexuality of someone.
If we decide to stop this discussion at some point you're free to discuss it somewhere else. There are multiple forums and fan sites in the internet. Here, on this wikia, everyone has to follow the rules. We agreed some time ago that discussing much too private things about either users and/or celebrities, as well as insulting and offending others goes against the rules.
So far I have suggested to stop getting too personal. In case that somebody has news about who is dating who, as long as it is legit news and not a secret, everything is fine.
Until then I suggest that fans respect other people's private life.
