Jarl's Fortress is a castle in Cenred's Kingdom. It is home to the slave trader Jarl and is likely located east of the Forest of Gedney.
History[]
Merlin and Arthur were held prisoner in Jarl's fortress after they were ambushed in the Forest of Ascetir. They were reunited with Gwaine, who had also been captured, and Arthur and Gwaine were later made to fight each other for Jarl's amusement. It was meant to be a fight to the death, but Merlin used his magic to start a fire and he, Arthur, and Gwaine escaped in the confusion (The Coming of Arthur).

- Merlin and Arthur were riding through the Forest of Ascetir when they were kidnapped by Jarl's men. This may imply that his fortress is nearby (The Coming of Arthur).
