Daobeth is a former kingdom in the land of Albion. It was once the most powerful of the Five Kingdoms until it was brought down by dragons.
History[]
Hundreds of years before Uther's reign, the kingdom of Daobeth was the most powerful of the Five Kingdoms. Its citadel, stronger than any other, contributed in making it the greatest of the five.
The kingdom of Daobeth participated in many battles and won many victories. However, the citadel was ultimately destroyed by the dragons, who left it in ruins.
When the veil between the worlds was torn, the Dorocha were released and Arthur traveled to the Isle of the Blessed to repair it. They spent the night at Daobeth during their journey in the hopes that they'd be safe from the Dorocha. However, Merlin and Arthur were attacked while searching for firewood and Merlin was severely injured.
With Merlin unable to continue, Lancelot volunteered to escort him back to Camelot while Arthur and the rest of the Knights continued on their journey (The Darkest Hour).

- Daobeth is located three days' ride from Camelot (The Darkest Hour).
- The only time the kingdom was identified as "Daobeth" was in a deleted scene in The Darkest Hour: Part One.
- It's interesting to note that the ruins of the citadel were not visible in the deleted scene. This may be why it was not included in the series (The Darkest Hour).
