The Fisher King's Tower (also called the Dark Tower) is a tower located in the Perilous Lands. It is home to the legendary Fisher King and a flock of Wyverns.
History[]
After the Fisher King was wounded in battle, his kingdom was reduced to a wasteland by a magical infection. The Fisher King became trapped inside his Tower, kept from death by his magic for hundreds of years.
Several centuries later, Arthur journeyed to the Fisher King's Tower in search of his legendary golden trident. He was followed on his quest by Merlin and Gwaine, who saved him from the Wyverns that guarded the Tower and helped him search of the trident.
During the search, Merlin triggered a trapdoor and found the Fisher King in the Tower's throne room. The Fisher King revealed that he'd been awaiting Merlin's arrival for hundreds of years and gave him the Avalon Vial, which he explained would provide help in Albion's time of need. In return, Merlin gave the Fisher King Arthur's Phoenix Eye bracelet, which granted him the death he desired.
Soon afterward, Gwaine and Arthur opened the trapdoor and Arthur claimed the Fisher King's abandoned trident, which he took back to Camelot (The Eye of the Phoenix).

- The Fisher King's Tower is labeled as the Dark Tower on Arthur's map. It shares this name with another tower that appears in series 5 (The Eye of the Phoenix, The Dark Tower).
