Uther's Chambers

Uther's Chambers are the personal quarters of Uther Pendragon.

The furniture consists of a bed, desk, divan, wardrobe, changing screen, and a table and chairs. Much of the furniture is made of dark wood, and earth tones are featured throughout.

Uther's chambers also have an anteroom, side entrance, and fireplace.

After he tricked Uther into drinking a potion that would paralyse him, Edwin attempted to kill him with an Elanthia Beetle. Uther was later saved by Merlin, who used magic to coax the beetle from his ear (A Remedy to Cure All Ills).

When Morgause placed Camelot under a powerful sleeping enchantment, Uther was among the first to feel its effects. He eventually fell asleep while sitting at a table in his chambers and was later found there by Arthur, Merlin, and Morgana, who dragged him to Arthur's chambers after Morgause arrived with the Knights of Medhir (The Fires of Idirsholas).

As part of a plot to drive Uther mad, Morgana hid an enchanted mandrake root beneath his bed. It tormented him with nightmarish hallucinations that left him unable to function. Fortunately, Merlin found and destroyed the mandrake root before Uther completely lost his mind (The Tears of Uther Pendragon).

When a Goblin's prank left Uther bald, he refused to leave his chambers until Gaius cured him (Goblin's Gold).

After Uther refused to publicly acknowledge her as his daughter, an enraged Morgana attempted to murder him in his sleep. She was foiled by Merlin, who woke Uther by shattering his window with a gust of wind (The Crystal Cave).

After Alice laced Uther's potion with Manticore venom, Arthur found him collapsed on the floor of his chambers. Uther later made a full recovery after Merlin and Gaius killed the Manticore, which caused the venom to lose its potency (Love in the Time of Dragons).

In the wake of Morgana's betrayal, Uther was left a broken man unable to function. He rarely spoke or reacted to his surroundings, and spent most of his time sitting in an armchair near a window (The Darkest Hour).

Uther appeared to rally as Arthur's birthday approached and even managed to attend the celebration. Soon after returning to his chambers, however, Uther was mortally wounded defending Arthur from the Gleeman's assassination attempt. Desperate to save his father, Arthur made a deal with an elderly sorcerer to heal him.

Unbeknownst to Arthur, however, his uncle Agravaine was in league with Morgana and placed an enchanted pendant around Uther's neck at her bidding. The pendant caused Dragoon's spell to backfire, killing Uther instead of saving him (The Wicked Day).
