Magical Staffs are staffs used by sorcerers and creatures of magic to perform magic or otherwise enhance their magical abilities.
History[]
The Sidhe possessed magical staffs which they used to cast spells and deadly bolts of magical energy (The Gates of Avalon, The Changeling).
When Aulfric and Sophia attempted to sacrifice Arthur, Merlin seized Sophia's staff and used it to kill them. Merlin kept the staff afterward and later used to it to duel Tauren, the Sidhe Elder, and Grunhilda (The Gates of Avalon, To Kill the King, The Changeling).
Anhora, the Keeper of the Unicorns, possessed a staff, though it is unknown whether he used it was magical (The Labyrinth of Gedref).
Morgana used the Rowan Staff to summon an army of undead skeletons during the Great Battle for Camelot. It was later destroyed by Merlin (The Tears of Uther Pendragon).
The Cailleach used her magical staff to cast a stunning spell against Gwaine (The Darkest Hour).
Alator of the Catha possessed a magical staff. He used it to defend Merlin by blasting Morgana into a wall (The Secret Sharer).
The Disir each wielded a staff forged using powerful sorcery. They used them to create a runemark and to defend themselves from the Knights of the Round Table, mortally wounding Mordred in the process (The Disir).
Merlin often carried a staff while disguised as Dragoon the Great. He used it to cast powerful lightning spells during the Battle of Camlann (Queen of Hearts, The Darkest Hour, The Diamond of the Day).
