Michelle Ryan is an English actress who portrayed the character Nimueh in four episodes of Merlin. She is best known in Britain for her role in Eastenders, and in North America for portraying iconic superhero Jaime Sommers in the short-lived revival of Bionic Woman. She is one of several Merlin actors with a tie to the Doctor Who franchise, appearing in the 2009 special Planet of the Dead as Lady Christina da Souza, and also narrating the audio book The Rising Night. She also appeared in 6-episode BBC series Jekyll as Katherine Reimer.

- Michelle was among the 100 Sexiest Women in the world for the magazine FHM's rankings in the years 2002, 2004, 2005 (in which she came in fourth), and 2007.
- At the age of 10 she decided to become an actor and joined a local theatre group.
